Circrulo Barcelona stands on the site of what used to be La Mesa. La Mesa was famously shut-down and the founders were sent to jail. The authorities in Catalonia do not like their rules being broken. The club is well known in the BCN weed scene and with good reason. This club has something that many other cannabis clubs in Barcelona do not… giant windows. The main thing you notice when visiting cannabis clubs in Barcelona is the distinct lack of natural light in most coffeeshops. Doing anything related to weed in public is illegal in Spain, and a big pane of glass does tend to make things very public. The giant frosted windows in this BCN cannabis club are a welcome sight for any regular smoker.

The club is also well known for it’s regular live music. It plays host to all kinds of DJs, ranging from hip-hop to deep-house and reggae. They have also been known to have live acts so there is something for most musical tastes. The cannabis club’s excellent reputation and great live music scene means it can get very busy. It’s a relatively small venue in comparison to some other weed clubs in BCN. The room is long, but not very wide. If you are paying them a visit and want a relaxing time, try to avoid peak times of the day when the dispensary area can get very busy.

Circulo cannabis club is in El Born, very close to Parc de la Ciutadella and Estació de França. It is very easy to locate and great for getting high and taking a stoned walk through the winding alleyways of Barcelona’s coolest district. Mercat del Born is literally around the corner and is a great spot to wander round while high. As far as location and atmosphere are concerned, this is one of the best cannabis clubs in BCN.

The club has chess boards, a wide selection of edibles and some tasty strains. As you might expect from a cannabis club with this reputation, prices can be a bit steep. If you are already a member of a tourist-heavy Barcelona weed café you will know what to expect. As one of the few weed coffeeshops in BCN with windows though, you might find the compromise on price an easy one to deal with.
