About the Plug Barcelona
The Plug cannabis club in Barcelona is probably one of the city’s best clubs. It has a range of incredibly high-grade strains that you probably won’t find anywhere else in the city. They’ve also recently won a Spannabis Champions Cup award for their homegrown Sativa. No easy feat in a city full of expert growers and cannabis enthusiasts. If you are looking for one of the highest grade, high-grade clubs in Barcelona, you’ve found it!
The club also stocks some excellent strains from reputable sources. These include DNA Genetics, Karma Genetics and Team 10 Extracts. The quality of weed in this Barcelona cannabis café will astound you and for this reason it’s not surprising it can be a little busy sometimes. The club is in the El Poble Sec area of west Barcelona just before the hill-climb to Montjuic. As a tourist this area isn’t quite as inviting as many other areas of the city as it’s a lot more residential. Although rewards are plenty for those that make the trip, as this area is also great for cheap Pinchos (The Catalan version of tapas).
Due to its location and the high quality of their weed strains, this club is very popular with locals. In it’s early days it was a little hard to get membership here but if you know someone who is a member it has become easier. Although you should prepare yourself for it to be busy on an FC Barcelona game day!
The club is spread over a few floors and therefore it has plenty of seating. The atmosphere and décor of the club is very similar to its Amsterdam counterparts. Neon lights and bar style seating make it’s a great place to hang out. The menu changes frequently as they are always experimenting with new strains so be prepared to try something new on every visit.
The Plug is a reputable and very well-managed Barcelona weed club and as a result is very popular. If you are after the best strains in BCN and don’t mind a busy environment, then this a great cannabis club. The standard of their weeds exceeds most other clubs in the city and the staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
